Planifica continues to improve the way schools move from automatic optimization to final timetable validation.
The latest update adds a more direct drag-and-drop experience for timetable adjustments. After generating an optimized schedule, planning teams can now make custom changes more easily by moving sessions on the timetable and placing unallocated sessions into available slots.
This is useful when the optimizer produces a strong solution but the school still needs a human adjustment: a preferred room, a better time for a teacher, or a small operational change before sharing the final timetable.
The goal is simple: keep the speed and reliability of optimization, while giving users the control they need for real school constraints.
We have also improved the surrounding planning workflow so changes are easier to review, validate, and apply. Planifica remains focused on helping schools build practical, balanced schedules without returning to manual spreadsheet work.
