About Planifica

Planifica is a school timetabling platform built by Digifinance Maroc, a Casablanca-based software company. We help schools replace weeks of manual scheduling with a constraint-optimization engine that produces conflict-free timetables in minutes.

We started Planifica because timetabling is one of the hardest, least-supported jobs in a school. It swallows the summer of whoever owns it, it is redone every time a teacher or room changes, and the tools available were either rigid desktop software or generic spreadsheets. We wanted something rigorous, reliable, and made for the realities of schools in Morocco and beyond.

Our mission

Our mission is to give every school a timetable it can trust — one that respects every hard constraint, uses teachers and rooms well, and can be regenerated whenever reality changes. We believe good scheduling is not a luxury: it protects teaching time, balances staff workloads, and shapes how well pupils learn across the week.

We treat scheduling as an engineering problem with a defensible answer, not a black box. The engine is deterministic and its results are verifiable, so school leaders can stand behind the timetable they publish.

How we build

Planifica is built on constraint-optimization algorithms proven in operations research. Schools describe their reality — grades, subjects, teachers, rooms, availability, and pedagogical rules — and the engine searches an enormous space of possibilities to find an arrangement that satisfies all of them at once.

We also publish free, focused tools — a timetable generator, a cognitive schedule analyzer, an attention-curve explorer, a structural-KPI simulator — so that anyone working on a school schedule can benefit from our thinking, whether or not they use the full platform.

Who we are

Planifica is developed and operated by the Planifica Team at Digifinance Maroc. We are a small group of engineers and education specialists working closely with schools to make sure the product solves the problems that actually matter on the ground.
