Morocco school holidays: frequently asked questions
- What are the 2026–2027 school breaks in Morocco?
- The preset includes breaks on 18–25 October 2026, 6–13 December 2026, 24–31 January 2027, 21–28 March 2027 and 9–16 May 2027. Check whether these apply to your school.
- Where can I find the January, March and May 2026 school breaks?
- Choose the 2025–2026 archive: The preset includes breaks on 25 January–1 February, 15–22 March and 3–10 May 2026. A calendar year overlaps two school years.
- Are public holidays in Morocco the same as school vacations?
- No. A national holiday falls on a specific date, while a school closure can cover several days. The preset New Year closure is a school break, not a series of nationwide public holidays.
- Are the 2027 Eid dates final?
- No. The preset shows estimated dates: 9–12 March for the Eid Al-Fitr break and 16–18 May for the Eid Al-Adha break. Official announcements and your school’s instructions take precedence.
- Does this calendar apply to French schools in Morocco?
- Not automatically. AEFE, OSUI and other networks may publish their own breaks. Compare your school’s calendar with the preset before customizing the PDF. France’s zones A, B and C should not be applied to these schools by default.
- How do I print the school calendar on one page?
- Download the PDF and print it in landscape A4. September through July and the legend fit on one page. The download form asks for an email, school and role; an account is not required.
